  First time here and came in for lunch. I got one of the specials and it was pork lion. Wow was that good and best bang for your buck.... I usually set my lunch budget at $10 and with this plate it would of been great but wanted to try a rib. The pork lion plate came with a drink and 3sides, a wide range of pickings (I got beans, potato salad and a side salad, all on point and great).... HOWEVER the reason for 4 stars and not 5 was due to there BBQ. The $4 single pork spare rib that I got was lacking flavor to my opinion. This was easily fixed with their BBQ Sauce.... Awesome, and will definitely come back

  Tried the lunch BBQ plate special.   Pork Steak, 3 sides, drink and pie for $13.  VERY good price.   Sides were great.   As they were preparing my plate, I received the last pork steak.  They noticed this last one wasn't up to their standards and added another meat on top of it (free of charge).  Speaks very highly that each plate is looked at and ensured to be great.   Will definitely return and encourage others as well.   Pecan pie was very good.

  Was turned into a cafeteria on January 3rd and the food was either old, dry, and stale or hard as a rock!! Very unhappy about this visit!! Weren't given the option for BBQ until after we paid. Had no idea it was right next door but won't be back here. Hope the BBQ is still decent when we want to go back.....

  We went to cafeteria side and sorry to say it was slop. The ladies were very nice but you can't put lipstick on a pig.
